May, 20-25 2007. This course is open to all veterinary technicians. As `first responders' to many clients' questions, veterinary technicians are often called upon to provide advice on normal behavior and quality of life pertaining to behavior. Unfortunately, dedicated behavior courses for technicians are not widely available. The intent of this course is to redress that need. The format of the course will involve lecture, demonstration, and labs involving real patients, using real and video cases. No prior knowledge will be assumed, but a large amount of class participation will be required.
