The City of Irvine seeks a Senior Animal Care Specialist. This position is responsible for the daily oversight of the kennel and Animal Care operations at the Animal Care Center. The candidates must have the requirements below: personable, dynamic, hands on individual to provide animal care functions in the Irvine Animal Care Center, including maintaining a safe, clean, and humane kenneling environment,evaluating complex animal behaviors, ensuring the Animal Care Center meets Basic Care Standards for each animal, performing animal medical examinations or other procedures, and assisting with euthanasia.
