Research Associate, Veterinary Science with the following responsibilities: - Observes, records and reports atypical findings to supervisor. - Use Standard Operating Procedures to draw and administer medication to animals as required. (IV, SC, IP, IM and other routes) - Perform animal husbandry duties; i.e. feeding, watering and cage cleaning. - Handle and restrain laboratory animals. - Sanitize animal rooms, procedure rooms, animal corridors, and cage-wash rooms. - Sanitize all animal care equipment. - Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required skills:
Makes effective use of database, spreadsheet, and word-processing software to prepare statistical and written reports for management.
Speaks clearly and effectively in a variety of settings.
Works productively with others in a team environment.
Associates degree in Animal or Veterinary Sciences required. BS degree in Animal or Veterinary Sciences preferred.

Able to work efficiently with minimal guidance or supervision.
